Domestic Battery, False Imprisonment Alleged in Napa Man's Arrest

Carlos Pavao, 33, was arrested Monday evening, Napa police said. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

A 33-year-old Napa man was arrested shortly before 8 p.m. Monday after a woman reported that he had shoved her during an argument in the 4400 block of Summerfield Drive, according to Napa police.

The victim also said Carlos Pavao prevented her from leaving the residence by blocking the doorway with his body, but she forced her way past him and fled, according to police.

Officers located Pavao in the area of Vinehill and Chardonnay and arrested him. He was booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections on suspicion of false imprisonment and domestic battery, police said.
