Death Closes Quiet Napa Street as Police Investigate
Updated 11 a.m. with arrest information. "I think it's something bad, very bad," wrote a worried neighbor in an email to Napa Patch. The Napa County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim as a 62-year-old man named Callie Joshua Evans.

Yellow police tape surrounded the lawn and block in front of a house in the 2000 block of Euclid Avenue Thursday morning and a Napa police officer in a patrol car remained on guard after a 62-year-old man died overnight.
"Police (were) knocking on doors at 1:30 a.m. asking if we knew the people," wrote a neighbor, who asked not to be named, in an email to Napa Patch.

"I think it's something bad, very bad," the neighbor added.
Capt. Tracey Stuart of the Napa County Sheriff's Office, which includes the coroner's department, said the victim has been identified as 62-year-old Callie Joshua Evans.

An autopsy is tentatively scheduled for Monday, Stuart said.
A call to the Napa Police Department was not immediately returned Thursday morning.
