Cyclist Busted for Suspected Meth

On 02/23/12 about 0550 hours an NPD Officer stopped a bicyclist for vehicle code violations in the area of Main Street/Napa Street. The bicyclist/suspect was identified as Donald Sadler, 45 years old, of Napa.
Sadler displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. The Officer evaluated Sadler, determined he was under the influence of a controlled substance and placed him under arrest.

The Officer searched Sadler’s belongings incident to arrest and located a glass smoking pipe containing a useable amount of suspected methamphetamine.
