Crime Stoppers Tip Leads to Arrest in Napa
Anonymous tip leads to capture of felon and parole violator
The received an anonymous tip through Napa Valley on Sunday, June 16. The anonymous tipster stated that Jose Ernesto Solorio, wanted for outstanding warrants, was living at a residence in the 2000 block of Locust St.
Deputies responded to the residence and found Solorio hiding in a back bedroom of the residence. Solorio was taken into custody without incident, and booked into the Napa County Jail on two outstanding warrants.
One of the warrants was a felony, for possession of a controlled substance, and the second a misdemeanor, for a violation of probation.

This is the first capture made by law enforcement in Napa County as a result of anonymous information received via Napa Valley Crime Stoppers.
"The Napa County Sheriff’s Office is extremely pleased to be an active partner with Napa Valley Crime Stoppers and their efforts in making the Napa Valley a safer place to live, work and visit," said the announcment from the Napa County Sheriff's Department.
