CHP: Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Wooden Valley Crash

A motorcyclist suffered major injuries when he crashed into an embankment on state Highway 121 northeast of Napa on Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The 64-year-old Suisun resident was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle south on Highway 121 just north of Wooden Valley Road when the crash happened shortly after 1 p.m., according to the CHP.
The rider was navigating downhill turns when his motorcycle tipped to the right and slid off the roadway and into a rock embankment, CHP officials said.

He was seriously injured and was taken to a hospital.
The crash shut down the highway in both directions for about half an hour.
