An American Canyon man was arrested last night on suspicion of DUI after the car he was driving collided with a motorcycle driven by a California Highway Patrol officer on Highway 121 at Los Carneros Avenue.
Timothy Peck was taken into custody after the 8:15 p.m. Saturday crash, said CHP Sgt. Rohner on Sunday.
Rohner said Peck's Honda Accord was turning eastbound on Los Carneros Avenue and CHP Officer Snyder's motorcycle was traveling northbound on Highway 121 when the incident occurred.
"It was a right-of-way collision," Rohner said. "Speed was not a factor."
