Out joyriding 2am? We all did it at 18 That road sucked back then. I am sure it is no better now. I hope the survivors get well soon. This county has lost many young, over the 25yrs I have been here to car wrecks.

It's beyond sad when a young one loses a life, so much still ahead of them is lost. Prayers to the family and friends of the lost and injured.

The CHP will regularly dismiss, the use of drugs or alcohol as the cause of a crash. Has this policy changed? I noticed that the last few crashes, this has not been done.
MICHAEL P WILSON "Independent Kid" January 13, 2013 at 09:07 PM
The CHP is saying the car was split in half. High speed was a factor.
Louisa Hufstader (Editor) January 13, 2013 at 09:09 PM
That information is included in the follow-up story we ran earlier today: http://patch.com/A-1cGn

No matter how many times we talk to the young kids,on how to be safe while driving..from even taking what is left of wreck on the back Of a tow truck to school for the kids to see..they think-its not going to happen to me. I remmeber such a day,,we were driving down 2nd ave..a car tried to pass-came right at us..my friend charlie tried to over correct and we flipped side to side..Im here to say we are both alive... Who knows what those kids were doing out at 200am..we need a curfew in napa for any one under the age of 21..unless we already have one... All parents should call thier kids at 10:00pm..and see where they are... safe at home is better than a car wreck at 200am

I couldn't believe Tucker died... I couldn't believe it.. Then my mom showed me this and it hit me so hard... I just lost it.. I know it's not my place to say this here, but I loved him as a friend and he brought me joy. Everyday back when I was in highschool, he would start my day off with a warm smile and a hug... And to think, I can't see his wonderful smile or get a hug from him anymore.... It hurts... I hope his passenger get better soon...
