Charges Dropped in Town Center Arrest

Disorderly conduct and other charges against Douglas Herich, stemming from an incident during the downtown Napa Chefs' Market last summer, have been dismissed.

Disorderly conduct and other charges filed last year against were dismissed last week.

in July, 2011, at the on suspicion of disorderly conduct involving being under the influence of alcohol/drugs and obstructing a peace officer.

Police reports said an officer attempted to make an unrelated arrest during and Herich interfered. Police said they smelled alcohol on Herich’s breath, and he refused to take a blood alcohol test or a Breathalyzer test.
