Calistoga Crash Causes Major Injuries

The solo crash on the Silverado Trail was reported just after 11 p.m., according to the CHP.

A driver suffered major injuries in a solo car crash on the Silverado Trail in Calistoga late Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash, involving a car against a tree off of the roadway at Pickett Road in Calistoga, was reported just after 11 p.m., according to the CHP.

Emergency crews responded to the scene to help extricate the driver, who was reportedly trapped inside the vehicle.

The driver was taken to a hospital to be treated for major injuries suffered in the collision.
