A combination of extreme heat and Fourth of July fireworks has Napa Valley firefighters on alert.
Cal Fire Napa has had at least two calls in the last 24 hours.
One was a structure fire at about 10 p.m. July 3 at Champion Lane in Deer Park.
Today, July 4, firefighters were responding to a grass fire at Las Arrigas Road and Milton Road.
Fire information personnel were not immediately available Thursday to comment on the status of those incidents.
