Burglary Suspect Nabbed After Chase

He fled when police arrived, but left identification that enabled them to catch up with him at an address across town. Arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

A suspected burglar was arrested early Friday morning after an alarm drew police to a Jefferson Street business, according to a shift activity log released by the :

On 02/10/12 about 0045 hours NPD officers were dispatched to a business in the 1700 block of Jefferson Street for a burglary alarm.

Upon the officers’ arrival a subject fled out of the front of the building on foot and was able to elude officers.

Evidence left at the scene by the subject led to the identification of Joseph Fowler 35 years old of Napa as the suspect. Fowler was on Napa County Probation for theft related charges.

NPD Officers located Fowler in the 2200 block of Sherry Drive in Napa.
