Sheriff's officials identified that had crashed down an embankment in Napa County near the Lake County line as 67-year-old Anthony Llerena.
Llerena, a Santa Rosa resident, was reported missing by his son on April 15, according to Napa County sheriff's officials.
Jason Llerena told officials that his father had called him at around 7:30 a.m. that day and said he was leaving his house to visit him in Lake County and never arrived.
Anthony Llerena's white Mazda hatchback was spotted by Caltrans workers on state Highway 29 shortly before 11 a.m. today, Napa County sheriff's Sgt. Tracey Stuart said.

Stuart said the cause of death was unknown pending results of an autopsy.
