UPDATE: Woman Who Died in ATV Crash Near Calistoga ID'd

UPDATE: 2:30 p.m. Friday June 7, 2013.

The woman killed in the ATV crash this morning was Corey Anne Considine, 29, of Calistoga, according to California Highway Patrol spokesman Jon Sloat.

According to Sloat, at approximately 1 a.m. today, CHP officers responded to a call of an ATV collision on private property near an address of 16043 SR 123 in Knights Valley.

"Preliminary investigation indicates the following; Corey Anne Considine, 29, of Calistoga, drove away from her residence approximately 9:45 p.m. (Thursday)," Sloat said.

 "When she had not returned after a few hours, friends went out to look for her," Sloat said. "She was found pinned under the ATV part way down an embankment."

Considine was declared deceased at the scene, Sloat said.
The investigation is ongoing to determine if impairment was a factor," he added.

Friends of the 31-year-old woman killed in an ATV crash near Calistoga found her in the hills, according to a story in the Santa Rosa Press Democrat.

The driver of an all-terrain vehicle was fatally injured in Sonoma County near Calistoga early this morning, according to the California Highway
Patrol.

The collision was reported on private property at about 12:47 a.m. near state Highway 128 in the vicinity of Franz Valley Road, according to the CHP.

According to the CHP, the all-terrain vehicle rolled and landed on top of the driver causing fatal injuries. The driver was declared deceased at the scene of the collision.

The driver's identity was not released, but according to other published reports, the deceased was a 31-year-old woman.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation, according to the CHP.
