UPDATE: Cash Reward of Up to $1K Posted For Info. On Umpqua Bank Robber

Napa Valley Crime Stoppers has just announced a reward of up to $1,000 for tips resulting in the successful capture of the criminal who robbed the Browns Valley Umpqua Bank.

Napa Police are asking for the public's help in locating a man who robbed the Umpqua Bank in Browns Valley just before 1 p.m. today.

Police said the suspect, who was carrying a black-colored semi-auto handgun, is described as a white adult male, wearing a black knit beanie hat, sunglasses, a black duffle bag, black long sleeved shirts, black pants and dark-colored tennis shoes. 

Police said the suspect robbed the bank at 3271 Browns Valley Road shortly before 1 p.m.

The man entered the bank with a handgun and demanded money from the teller. He placed the money in a duffle bag he carried into the bank and left, police said.

He was last seen walking in a southbound direction through the Moose Lodge parking lot. Police units conducted an area search for the suspect utilizing the Sheriff’s Department K9 for a tracker, the CHP helicopter, NPD and Sheriff’s Department personnel. 

The suspect was not located. 

It is believed the same suspect robbed this bank on Oct. 29, 2013. It is unknown at the moment the amount of money the suspect left the bank with, police said.

The investigation is ongoing. 

Police said they were releasing photos from today's incident and from the one on Oct. 29.
