AmCan Man Arrested in Connection With Sonic Drive-In Robbery

Christopher Aragon booked late last week by Napa County Sheriff's detectives.

A 22-year-old American Canyon man was arrested by Napa County Sheriff's detectives for allegedly being involved in a robbery at Sonic Drive-In.

Christopher Aragon was arrested at about 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy.

Police said the case begin Aug. 29 at about 11 p.m., when a masked gunman robbed Sonic Drive-In, 6055 Main St. at Napa Junction.

The man then fled on foot. The robber, who has not been apprehended, took an undisclosed amount of money after entering the fast-food restaurant.

None of the three employees were injured in the robbery. The suspect is described as a black male, about 18 years old, between 5 feet 11 and 6 feet 1.

Napa County Sheriff's Capt. Tracey Stuart said Aragon was one of the three employees who were present during the robbery. She said Aragon is believed by detectives to have conspired with another person or persons in planning the robbery. 

Aragon was booked at Napa County Department of Corrections.
