Alleged Meth in Bicycle Tubing Leads to Arrest

39-year-old transient is arrested by Napa Police.

A transient man was arrested after police found two bags of methamphetamine inside his bicycle tubing in downtown Napa on Saturday evening, police said.

Mark Allen Harris, 39, was stopped on Saturday at about 5 p.m. by police while riding his bicycle in the 500 block of Coombs Street, near the Napa Library, for failing to stop at a stop sign.

Harris was on probation with terms of search and seizure, police said.

Officers searched Harris and found two small bags containing a total of .3 grams of a substance suspected to be methamphetamine inside the tubing of his bicycle, police said.
          
Police arrested Harris for possession of a controlled substance and for violation of probation.
