UPDATE: Missing At-Risk Napa Man Found in Ukiah

Police said he disappeared Sunday morning.

Dale Fender was located safe in Ukiah by the California Highway Patrol Monday evening.

Napa Police want the public's help in tracking down a missing 78-year-old Napa man, considered at-risk due to dementia.

Dale "Whitey" Fender was last seen at about 6 a.m. Sunday leaving his home in North Napa and driving a silver 2003 Toyota 4 Runner, California license plate #5CFZ149.

Fender is described as a white male, gray hair, blue eyes, 5'11 and approximately 195 lbs.

Police said Fender has dementia and is easily confused.

"He takes medication, does not have his cell phone or glasses with him," said Napa Lt. Debbie Peecook. "His credit card was used in Pleasant Hill yesterday morning and in Fairfax at about 3 p.m. at gas stations for fuel.

"He may be trying to drive to the River Rock Casino in Sonoma County," Peecook added. "This is a location he has frequented with his wife."
