Napa Police Department officers arrested six motorists for suspicion of driving under the influence during the weekend of the BottleRock Music Festival.
The patrols were participating in the AVOID the 9, grant-funded by the California Office of Traffic Safety, from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. through Sunday.
Forty-five vehicles were stopped in the City of Napa, with 11 drivers who displayed symptoms of alcohol or drug use being evaluated, and six arrested for DUI-related violations, police said.
Funding for this program was provided by a grant from the OTS through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
