$25K Reward for Bearded Bank-Robber

He hasn't been spotted in Napa yet, but this burly, bearded man has hit eight US Bank branches in the greater Sacramento and San Francisco regions since September and there's a $25,000 reward for information that leads to his identification and arrest.

When a the in Redwood City the week before Christmas, he knew exactly what he was doing: He had previously robbed seven US Bank locations in less than four months, .

US Bank, which has three locations in Napa, has offered up to a $25,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the suspect, who is believed to have robbed the following branches:

  • September 1: US Bank in South San Francisco.
  • October 12: US Bank in Fremont
  • October 19: Cupertino
  • October 24: Los Altos
  • October 24: US Bank in Sunnyvale
  • December 20: US Bank in 
  • December 20:
  • December 22: US Bank in Redwood City

The FBI and other local jurisdictions are in the process of investigating these robberies. In each case, the suspect presented a note but did not display any actual weapons.

He is in his late 20s or early 30s, police said. He had black hair and a full beard at the time the crimes were committed and was wearing reading glasses. He stands about 5 feet 7 inches and weighs 180 pounds, police said.

"We are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect," said Lt. Paul Doroshov. "Keep in mind that hair styles and facial hair can be easily altered."
