Man also held on suspicion of possession of suspected marijuana, cocaine.

A 21-year-old Napa man was arrested at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on suspicion of having a stolen, loaded handgun and was in possession of suspected marijuana and cocaine.

Travis Alexander Partida was taken into custody at the 3600 block of Diablo Avenue in Napa on multiple charges relating to the gun and the drugs.

According to the police log, an officer contacted the driver, later identified as Partida, of a pickup truck for driving at an excessive rate of speed in the 3600 block of Diablo Avenue.

As the officer spoke with Partida, he allegedly could smell an odor of marijuana coming from within the pickup truck. The officer had Partida exit his vehicle, at which time Partida was searched by the officer.

A records check revealed the handgun was reported stolen out of Vacaville.

Officers allegedly located a plastic vial containing suspected marijuana in a compartment of the driver’s door. In this same area, officers found packaging material that contained suspected cocaine.

This young man is in big trouble for not doing too much.I remember when I was that age. This day & age things are stacked up against young people they can't do anything and if they do it sticks with them for the rest of there life.I was lucky but if you play too long it will bite you.Somebody should have got that young man and told him to cool it,now it's to late.

He is an ex-felon who was carrying a loaded stolen gun and illegal drugs... that's someone's idea of not doing too much? That's a lot in my world. His status as an ex-felon tells me that he has probably been told to "cool it" many times.
