2 Injured in Hwy. 29 Crash Near Lincoln

All lanes were blocked briefly on southbound 29 after Lincoln.

Two people were reported injured today in a two-car crash on southbound Highway 29 just south of Lincoln Avenue.

Napa City Fire Department responded to the accident, which occurred around 2 p.m. when one car rolled over and another car hit the guardrail.

Details on the cause of the crash were not immediately available.

All lanes were blocked briefly on southbound 29. The roadway was reopened later.

Napa Fire Capt. Steve Becker said the accident is under investigation by Napa Police Department as to what might have been the cause.

He said the two injuries were considered mild to moderate. He had no word on the identities of the injured people.

Responding at the scene were Napa City Fire with two engines and a battalion chief unit, Napa County Fire with two engines and a battalion chief, and two ambulances, Becker sad.
