A Napa couple were arrested after a dispute that allegedly turned physical, police said.
Elizabeth and Rusty Nelson, of the 100 block of Reed Circle, were booked into Napa County Department of Corrections after the incident at 2:40 p.m. Thursday.
Elizabeth Nelson, 26, was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence with injury; Rusty Nelson, also 26, was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor spousal battery.
Acording to the Napa police report, officers responded to a call of a civil problem in the 100 block of Reed Circle from Elizabeth Nelson. Police said she reported that Rusty Nelson was at their home taking items.
Elizabeth Nelson told police she was on her way home as she called it in.
"She arrived prior to officers and confronted Rusty," police said. "She shoved Rusty and hit him in the face, causing injury.
"No immediate medical attention was needed [for Rusty Nelson]," police said. "Elizabeth claimed Rusty pushed her as well."
Police said Elizabeth Nelson was not injured.
