Where Did My Facebook Go?

Monday afternoon, many desktop computer users found themselves unable to get onto Facebook and took their troubles to the Twittersphere. Did you lose your access? Tell us in the comments.

For a few minutes that seemed like an hour Monday afternoon, I couldn't get Facebook on my computer. Or on my other computer. Using any browser.

I was, however, able to access the social network on my smartphone.

According to CNet, TechCrunch, Mashable.com and the Twittersphere — see above — I was not alone in having trouble reaching Facebook Monday. A Gmail outage was also reported earlier in the day.
