What Should Replace Casey's Hallmark?

The north Napa Hallmark store has closed its doors. What would you like to see move into its Bel Aire Plaza space, next door to Trader Joe's?

It's time once again to set our imaginations free and come up with visions for another business vacancy in Napa.

The long-established Casey's Hallmark store has closed its doors: Its former retail space in right next door to , is for lease.

What kind of business would you like to see move into the vacant spot? A shop? A restaurant? Some type of service business?

I was the owner of Casey's Hallmark in the Bel Aire Plaza and am very disturbed to see that my old space is now available. I absolutely did NOT want to close my store and leave Napa, but I was never even given the opportunity to renegotiate a new lease with the property manager and landlords of this center. I was very interested in continuing to stay and be a part of the Napa community, but I was told that there were already new tenants slated to go into my space and they would not even discuss a renewal of my lease. It was sad and difficult to leave our wonderful customers and I miss being a part of Napa. And now I find out that the space is still available...very disappointing.

We miss you also - I heard that Chicos was going in that space, must have been a rumor.Would much prefer your store was still there.....business is so impersonal, whatever happened to loyalty and a sense of what the consumer wants?

Desiree, I am sorry you found out this way. Maybe you can look at a spot in the Napa Town Center, now that its sale has been finalized? Sounds like a loyal clientele would welcome you back. http://napavalleyregister.com/news/local/zapolski-completes-deal-to-buy-napa-s-town-center/article_4e0667f6-94a8-11e1-b078-0019bb2963f4.html
