What Business Should Go Here?

It's a dry cleaner's now, but it could become a tasting room, a retail shop, a restaurant or — well, you tell us: What should replace Adam's Cleaners on First Street in the Oxbow District?

"FOR SALE," reads a sign on the wall outside Adam's Cleaners at 731 First Street, near the Napa Valley Wine Train tracks and the Oxbow Public Market.

"Commercial use — Tasting Room — Restaurant — Retail — Endless Possibilities!"

The property has about 1,800 square feet in two buildings, another sign announces.

Like its neighbors, the 731 First St. parcel has a new flood wall to keep the Napa River at bay and is in the increasingly hip Oxbow District.

Interested potential purchasers may call for more information: (707) 495-0774 or (707) 372-8585.

What businesses could you imagine replacing the dry cleaner's there? Is there a particular kind of restaurant or retailer you'd like to see set up shop? Or would you like another tasting room? Tell us in the comments.

Napa River Oxbow Museum. There is a diverse history about that area of Napa, from local Indians to Chinese immigrants to orchards to restaurants and bars. Not only tourists but locals could benefit from this historic information.
