What Belongs in This Napa Storefront?

A handsomely painted storefront on First Street is empty and up for lease or sale, possibly to become a restaurant. What does your imagination picture there? Tell us in the comments what you envision for this downtown spot.

It's been a while since this shop at 1141 First Street has held any merchandise.

Located on the south side of the street between Coombs and Main, it served as the sales office for the until the condo-hotel sold out a couple of years ago.

According to , it contains 4,273 square feet of space in an open floor plan with a second-floor mezzanine and a modern interior with exposed ceiling beams, natural brick wall and stained concrete floor.

There are three restrooms and the building has been completely remodeled and retrofitted, according to a flyer from the real estate company, which includes floor plans for a potential restaurant.

Strong & Hayden lists 1141 First Street as for sale at $1,350,000 or for lease at $8,325 a month.

What does your imagination picture in this downtown space? What kind of restaurant might be a good fit?

It has a large floor - ideal for a dance club/bar scene! I know lots of folks who travel to SF/Santa Rosa/Berkeley areas to go dancing. We need healthy outlets for folks here in Napa! Why force people to go spend their money in other towns?

Hello again . . . I location I am talking about is the former women's clothing store that closed its doors months ago. Apparently, that is where the center is going. Hope I didn't confuse anyone . . . smile.
