Friday, Nov. 9

The Napa Valley Film Festival continues through Sunday at locations around the valley: Check www.napavalleyfilmfest.org for full details.

The new Century cinema is open with 12 screens: Take Gasser Drive from Imola Avenue, then take a left on Hartle Court and another left into the parking lot on the far side of the multiplex. The Psychedelic Furs and the Fixx aren't coming to Napa until Jan. 4, but if you buy your tickets today, the Uptown Theatre will donate $5.00 to the animal welfare groups helping Hurricane Sandy victims: See Uptown Theatre to donate for Sandy storm relief.
