phone scams

I read about the PG&E scams and wanted to report that another scam is hitting internet users...a phone call from a guy saying he is calling from Microsoft and that I have a virus on my computer he will help me fix. He "needs to take over my computer to get rid of the virus".  Microsoft does not call people directly.  This is a scam listed on Google.
