Phone scam alert

A person from the city of Napa reported being robo called at 3 pm yesterday and again at 3am this morning requesting donations for the Napa Valley Food Bank. Community Action of Napa Valley wants to assure the local community that none of its programs are calling people for donations.  Community Action operates six local programs: The Food Bank; CANV Kids, Senior Nutrition/Meals and Wellness on Wheels; Housing and Shelter; Tobacco Education and Stop Smoking; and a Culinary Training program.
