The Napa Valley will present a "Silver Salute to the Silver Screen" at the 25th Anniversary of the Napa Valley Academy Awards® Telecast Viewing Party on Sunday, Feb. 24, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Robert Mondavi Winery, 7801 St. Helena Highway in Oakville.
Sponsored in part by Robert Mondavi Winery, the Napa Valley Academy Awards® Telecast Viewing Party raises funds to benefit the HIV/AIDS and Cancer Case Management Programs of the CARE Network at Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
Over 25 of the Valley's finest restaurants will be represented at the walk-around portion of the event.
Past participating restaurants have included Oenotri, Napa Valley Wine Train, Compadres Rio Grille, Bistro Jeanty and Bouchon, among many others, providing tasty treats paired with current release and library wines from the Robert Mondavi Winery.
Silent auction items, balloon prizes, along with the glamour of the awards make this viewing of the Oscar® telecast the best in the Napa Valley and Bay Area.
Special Guest Celebrity Bob Sarlatte will entertain VIP Dinner attendees as emcee. In addition to being the voice of the San Francisco 49ers, Sarlatte is a frequent guest on The Late Show with David Letterman and his credits include film, television and radio.
This year will mark the 25th anniversary of this annual Napa Valley fundraising event for AIDS outreach and prevention and the 85th Anniversary of the official Academy Awards® Ceremony.
In addition to the Robert Mondavi Winery, sponsors include La Tavola Linens, St. Helena Florist, Classic Party Rentals, KVON/KVYN and Events by Kent.
Tickets are $99 per person, and parties of six may also reserve a $600 private table, including table signage and service.
