Holiday Gifts from Heifer Keep Giving All Year Round

Heifer International offers a sustainable alternative to Christmas shopping, and you can also get involved as a volunteer here in the Napa Valley.

Are you looking for a special holiday gift? A gift that keeps on giving?

Through Heifer International, you can give a goat, cow, pig, chicken or bees, for example, to farming families in need in the United States and around the world.

You can then present a gift card to relatives or friends, explaining how your donation in their name helps work to end hunger around the world, foster sustainability, provide training and empower communities.

The recipient of the farm animal you donate will give others its offspring, thus passing on the gift.

You can also get involved: Local volunteers for Heifer International will meet at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 8 at the First United Methodist Church in Napa.
