Will the IRS Scandal Secure A Republican Sweep in 2014? The Senate is wasting it's time With Immigration Reform . As the House is doing the same with a Obama care repeal. Are we going to wake up and deal with this Government?
Michael Haley May 22, 2013 at 10:25 AM
Obama had nothing to do with this. Michael I hate to tell you this but the only people who think there is anything much toward Obama in all these scandals are hard core conservatives who have been trying to pin something/anything on him since before he got the first Presidential nomination. I read the Tea Party stuff every day and it is a full court press on anything they can conjure up to blame on Obama and after a while it is a case of crying wolf on a daily basis and everyone else just tunes it out. Which is too bad because there are actually some things he ought to be criticized for, but his opposition is so constantly ridiculously over the top that before the Republicans even speak you already know it is either an exaggeration or totally fabricated. They have no credibility left, at least with me.

Apparently, there are two Michael Wilsons in Napa. Go figure. HRM
MICHAEL WILSON "TEA PARTY 2014" May 22, 2013 at 12:06 PM
Michael Haley I Agree with you. It is unknown what Obama knew about the IRS. My point is the Elected Government is not doing the job we sent them to do. This is a Government drunk on power.
Ron May 22, 2013 at 05:08 PM
Obama supportors will insist that he had nothing to do with any of the scandals but no one knows that yet. Even if he didn't have anything to do with the scandels directly normally the president takes at least some responsiblity what happens in his administration. Maybe Obama will be able to get away with his defense so knowing nothing. It's working great with his people who will support him no matter what, but I don't it will work with everyone else.
Michael Haley May 22, 2013 at 05:54 PM
Michael, yes our government is immoblized by partisanship, electing the other side will do nothing to stop that at this point.
King Jarvis IV May 22, 2013 at 06:08 PM
You know Haley, it is our nature, we guess to post comments when we disagree with someone. Yet I have to give you a secular AMEN for your 2:54pm statement. We would think that anyone over the age of say, twenty, would already know that, but progress is being made. The strategy of tension rules the process now, by design. HRM
MICHAEL WILSON "TEA PARTY 2014" May 22, 2013 at 06:30 PM
Not so much that the Government is broken That is as it is. The question is how do we fix it?
King Jarvis IV May 23, 2013 at 03:06 PM
A total grassroots generated upheaval will fix it, nothing less. " Hand to mouth" financial conditions and the confiscation of our children's future foreclose on just about anything working shy of a bleaching of our system as we know it. HRM
Tom Ontis May 26, 2013 at 12:12 PM
November 2014 is still about 18 months away. Voters seem to have sort term memories. Research shows that people are more than likely one issue voters, though the research I read in college was from the 1970's. But with FOX (not) News blaring at us 24 hours per day what an evil person Obama is, it will surface from time to time. Anyone thing can effect an election. In 2010, the Repubs made it another national election, by, among other things vilifying and saying some really nasty things about Nancy Pelosi. Eventually DArrell Issa and his gang will run out of finges to count the 'scandals' as well as the hearings he has held. He's soooooooooooooo tough!
Michael Haley May 26, 2013 at 01:12 PM
I guess my point of view is that the problem isn't really the government, it's the people, and perhaps the system reflects that. One thing that is happening is with all the extremism we are seeing a lot of options of what can be done, from both extremes. Another thing is that it is forcing people to participate and pay attention more, and focus on it more. At the same time I realize that some drop out due to frustration and loss of hope. So I see those two positives in all this. .
MICHAEL WILSON "TEA PARTY 2014" May 26, 2013 at 01:30 PM
Tom Ontis I agree with you about FOX,CNN,MSNBC and others. My disgust with this government will not be short term I hope others will not think of the scandal that way. I understand there are voters on both sides that will lockstep vote. The problem I see is the full power of the government has been used to disenfranchise Groups. We as a nation need to have a full turn of the Elected in the next two elections. Even if the new are no better than the old We need to show we have the will to throw them out. We can not keep bad leaders around just because they are Kennedy's or Clinton's. Come on Maxine Waters has been doing a crappy job since 1992
King Jarvis IV May 26, 2013 at 02:29 PM
Maxine Waters. Yeah right. You are falling right into the trap of personalizing the situation. The "Others". As long as we differentiate between those darker then us versus those of a common intent, we will be treading water. To be fair, Waters has not been the best, but for you to single her out totally taints you respectability. We can think of dozens upon dozens of elected folk who have done more to send our country backwards than that women. HRM
MICHAEL WILSON "TEA PARTY 2014" May 26, 2013 at 02:43 PM
Sorry JWP waters Race has nothing to do with the fact she needs to be replaced. You are right I can think of many others doing a bad job.
King Jarvis IV May 26, 2013 at 03:16 PM
MW, if Water's race has nothing to do with it, then it probably would have served you well to mention someone lighter than a paper bag , ALONG with her. We admire your passion. Usually. HRM
MICHAEL WILSON "TEA PARTY 2014" May 26, 2013 at 03:31 PM
Why should I not Call out a Bad Congress person due to there race? MRS Waters should not get a pass due to being A Black American. I will not be politically correct on this or any other matter. Lindsey Graham White guy Crappy Congressmen.
King Jarvis IV May 26, 2013 at 04:04 PM
The word is "their". Alright! We knew that Graham was right on the tip of your...... You know, it's not about being PC. We are not in a vacuum here, MW. This is N.A.P.A. Perception is oftentimes more telling than reality. The reputation of this city and county precedes it. Nuff said. HRM
King Jarvis IV May 26, 2013 at 04:26 PM
You must be new to the area, or, respectfully, naive. HRM
MICHAEL WILSON "TEA PARTY 2014" May 26, 2013 at 04:27 PM
Still not sure what ones race has to do with ones status of being a Crappy congress person. The point is this congress and admin are in charge of the IRS.
MICHAEL WILSON "TEA PARTY 2014" May 26, 2013 at 04:38 PM
Jarvis I grew up in Detroit I moved to Ca in the 90s I also should note I vote in Detroit.
King Jarvis IV May 26, 2013 at 04:41 PM
Come on, man. You are wasting our time and your energy. It is abundantly clear to even the posters here that this admin and Congress are totally null and void. We thought that you were clever enough to know that if the other"party" held sway in the White House and the Capitol , there would be no difference for anyone. Come on man, the hour is growing late. Educate yourself, Rocky. HRM
MICHAEL WILSON "TEA PARTY 2014" May 26, 2013 at 04:49 PM
So what you are saying is you are Ok with the IRS scandal?
King Jarvis IV May 26, 2013 at 05:27 PM
M Dub....... There is always going to be a diversionary scandal or some other item to continue the real power brokers' strategy of tension. You are a grown man, do as you please, but we are keeping an eye on the PNAC crown, this war based economy and how long this great country can sustain this fiscal hemorrhaging. Before you say it, we know. None of these fake parties are any help. We believe that you are greatly disappointed in your hometown, so are we. Man, we were fortunate enough to see her in her prime. It is great for ALL of us if Motor City makes a comeback. HRM
King Jarvis IV May 28, 2013 at 09:04 AM
We just noticed a pair of typos in our comment above. Correction: "we are keeping an eye on the PNAC CROWD. " Also: " We were fortunate enough to HAVE seen her, (Detroit), in her prime." HRM
Penny May 28, 2013 at 06:50 PM
Like all the other scandals, I am happy the IRS is checking Tea Party groups for their tax exempt status! Keep it up!
MICHAEL WILSON "TEA PARTY 2014" May 28, 2013 at 09:13 PM
So Penny Should all PITA Code Pink and All other groups have their Tax Status Checked?
