OBITUARY: Ramona Marie Brown of Napa

Ramona Marie Brown, 82, passed away in Napa on Jan. 2.

She was born in St. Cloud Minnesota on June 1, 1931 to Frank and Olga Luken.

She married Hilary Brown on Dec. 3, 1959 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in San Francisco and they moved to Napa in 1960.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading, playing golf, gardening, road trips, walking half marathons, sewing, hiking at Lake Tahoe, playing bingo and rummy cube. She also participated in the Walk for Life in San Francisco, and the 40 days for life in Napa. Ramona was very dedicated to Church, Family and Country.

She is survived by her six children, Christopher, Daniel, Kevin, Patrick and Terese all of Napa and David and his wife Stephanie of Arizona; grandchildren; Zachary and Kathrynne.
She is also survived by Frank Luken, Michael Luken, Pegge Alciatore and Pat Luken.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hilary; brother, Robert Luken and sister Francillle Harry

The funeral Mass was today, Monday, at St. Apollinaris Catholic Church, 3700 Lassen Street in Napa. The rosary and vigil service was Sunday, Jan. 5 at 6 p.m. at Claffey and Rota Funeral Home, 1975 Main St. in Napa. Burial will be at Tulocay Cemetery.
