1994-2013

Montana Montez of Napa passed away on Monday, September 2, 2013, at the age of 19.

Montana was born in Woodland, but lived in the Napa Valley for the duration of his life. He attended Napa Valley High School.

Montana is survived by his mother Chula Butler of Napa. Godfathers, Gerald Jackstis of Santa Clara and Aaron Geyer of Napa. He is also survived by many Great Uncles and Aunts, Cousins and Friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Raul Montez of Woodland.

Montana had a love for life that was visible on his smiling face any time you saw him. His love and loyalty for his family and friends was without question and endless. For as young as Montana was, his attitude and how he valued those close to him was very admirable.

Those close to Montana knew that his friendship was true and did not come with expectations. Montana wanted anyone and everyone around him to be happy and lively.

Montana loved Monster Trucks. As his Grandmother Esther said "Montana loved Trucks, Trucks and More Trucks." Montana's mother, Chula, has talked about the truck Montana has left behind, being by far, the oldest truck he's ever had and the work that the truck needs. The old truck is now something that will definitely be remembered always, and has even given family and friends a reason to laugh.
