OBITUARY: Christopher Stade, Napa High Grad

Memorial services for Stade are 1 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Napa.

The loving, compassionate son, brother, grandson and friend, Christopher Owen Prtichett Stade, was taken home to be with the Lord after the result of a truck accident.

Chris was born on Labor Day, Sept. 6, 1993 in St. Helena, California. He passed away nearly 20 years later on Labor Day, Sept. 2, 2013.

He was born to Joe Pritchett and Misty English, then adopted by Cindy Pritchett Stade and Lynn Stade at the age of 6. He was raised in Napa with his brother Brandon Stade and sister Brianna Stade.

He attended school at St. John's Lutheran, Harvest Middle School and Napa High. He graduated in 2012.

Chris worked hard and played hard. He enjoyed wake boarding, snow boarding, soccer, basketball and football. But what he loved the most was working on his truck with step-dad Andy Lucas, grandfather Bill Pritchett and his many close friends.

He did construction and delivery work at Napa Builder Supply.

He will be remembered by his warm smile, laughter, and great compassion for others. He would do anything for anyone and was always the one to make everyone laugh. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

He is survived by his mom Cindy Pritchett Stade of Napa (her fiance Andy Lucas), dad Lynn Stade of Maine, brother Brandon Stade of Napa, sister Brianna Stade of Georgia, half-sister Jessica Pritchett of Redding, CA (and wife Roxanne Sierra), biological father Joe Pritchett of Napa, grandfather Bill Pritchett of Reno, NV, step-grandfather Scott Adams of Napa, his dogs Rocky and Jessica and cats Toulouse, Marina, Hana and Bagherra, many aunts, uncles and cousins, and countless friends.
