NVOS pen and ink and monoprint artist, Nick Cann

NVOS artist Nick Cann
 creates line work in pen and ink, inspired by architecture and whimsy. What does he like to draw? In his own words, "anything and everything that I can capture in line. Detail is most interesting to me."

Some of Nick's noteworthy designs include sets for Ann-Margaret, Diana Ross, and Gene Wilder. He also created costume renderings for Michael Jackson and Kathleen Turner.

Sets are still a part of his life – this year, Nick will complete a four-year project for the design of The Nutcracker ballet set, for the 25th Anniversary of the Stapleton Ballet at the Marin Civic Center.
