NVOS mixed media mandala artist, Carolynne Gamble

By NVOS artist Davina Rubin

NVOS Artist Carolynne Gamble
creates sacred geometry mandala art. Her love for mandala art stems from her studies in Eastern religion and metaphysics. Each mandala is created as a prayer with a specific purpose. Her mandala art represents Carolynne’s personal quest for balance in life – physical, emotional and spiritual.

Carolynne discovered a technique called “process painting,” and learned to create from intuition, not intellect. She appreciates the immediacy of paper collage, and the visual appeal of metallic foils and paints. “I’m really a glitz girl at heart, and go for the sparkle!”

Visitors to Carolynne’s studio will allow you to see the works of three artists, pick green figs from the tree, and experience the cave of wishes and dreams.

You can meet Carolynne and see her artwork at Studio #42, at 1807 Crinella, in St. Helena, California. You can get a glimpse of her work online, too, at  www.carolynnegamble.wordpress.com.

Artist, writer and actress Davina Rubin uses acrylics and mixed media to create abstract works on both canvas and paper.  She paints in her small loft in Napa, and writes a philosophic blog atwww.davinarubin.com. You can also see some of her artwork at www.davinarubinart.weebly.com, and you can visit her at Studio # 42 during Napa Valley Open Studios.
