It is rapidly becoming apparent to more and more folks here and around the globe that the STRATEGY OF TENSION is being employed in the US to create an atmosphere of paranoia and derision , pretty much what it was designed for. " Others" has been transformed into a word that conjures up elements within the American psyche that should remain underneath, yet have surfaced to the outer derma of our collective souls. Almost every day we are introduced to a new and barely pronounceable, foreign name of a region or sect that those in charge put forth as a threat to our calm, security, and peace of mind. STRATEGY OF TENSION. The timing is almost always suspect, as well. Remember when: BREAKING NEWS really stood for something? Over here, ......... now look, over there!!!!! Everywhere!!!!!!!!!!! Blood thirst everywhere: Drone attacks , YEA!!!. Formerly covert SEAL team insertions, extractions, and "quietings", OLE!!!!!!!!! Whew, makes Sleepy Hollow, those ubiquitous zombies and all things dark and sinister more platable in our present culture, right??? We don't know, but we personally know very well the power of " Midnight ". We don't know if life is imitating art, or vice versa, but more and more, when we watch "news" footage, we go: Hey, we've played that game before on our video game consoles. By the way, we have noticed that the latest contingent of Secret Service agents who form the "diamond", shaped protective core around the president, are apparently, the oldest on record? These guys look like they are a few manhours shy of a gold watch. Weird..... HRM
