Tours run during 3 December weekends starting this weekend, benefit Foster Children of Napa Valley.
The popular Napa Valley Wine Trolley “Holiday Light Tours” will return to downtown Napa for three weekends in December: Fridays through Sundays on Dec. 6, 7, and 8; Dec. 13, 14, and 15; and Dec. 20, 21, and 22.
The 90-minute tours, including hot cocoa, candy canes, classic Christmas carols with sing-alongs led by musically talented trolley drivers, will depart those nights from the Oxbow Public Market at 6:30 p.m. and tour the historic downtown areas of Napa, including many of the beautifully lighted inns and quaint Victorian neighborhoods.
Tickets will cost $25 per adult with children under the age of 10 paying $15 per ticket.

“We’re delighted that our Holiday Light Tours have become part of the Christmas tradition here in the Valley, and we’re particularly pleased that the proceeds from these events will be donated to the Foster Children of Napa Valley, such a deserving charity,” said Craig Haskell, sales manager for the Wine Trolley.
Haskell urged passengers on the trolley tours to consider having dinner at one of the fine restaurants surrounding the Oxbow Public Market.

“It is always a delightful moment to be able to dine on a riverfront patio overlooking the Napa River, especially during the holiday season when so many homes and hotels are so beautifully decorated,”he said.
He also reminded trolley riders to be mindful of chilly evening temperatures in Napa in December, recommending that they wear warm clothing for their tours.
