TOMATO PLANT SALE AND EDUCATION DAY

The UC Master Gardeners of Napa County will host its second annual TOMATO PLANT SALE AND EDUCATION DAY in the South Oxbow Parking Lot on First Street. Over 5000 tomato plants and 54 varieties will be available for your shopping pleasure. Several education tables will be set up to help you learn about your plants including information on transplanting, protection, support structures, pruning, and how to protect your plants from pests and disease. "Tomato Pros" will be roaming about and will help guide you in your purchases and answer any and all questions. The MG Help Desk will be staffed to answer general gardening inquiries.

For more information please visit the MG website at http://ucanr.org.ucmgnapa or call 707-253-4221 on MWF, 9-noon and ask for Master Gardeners. Find the MGs on Facebook under UC Master Gardeners of Napa County.

Last year all plants were sold by 12:30 so come early and join in this fun family day. All young gardeners and future gardeners are encouraged to attend.
