The Great Library Bake-off: Breakfast Baking

Who’s the Best Breakfast Baker in Napa County? With a Talk by Sarah Mitchell Hansen

In November, all five libraries in Napa County–American Canyon, Napa, Yountville, St. Helena, and Calistoga–held breakfast baking contests. The five winners of Best in Show and the five winners of People’s Choice will bring their creations to the St. Helena Public Library for one final tasting. The people will decide who will hold the title of Best Breakfast Baker in Napa County. Second- and third-place prizes will also be awarded.

While the votes are being counted, Sarah Mitchell Hansen, co-author with Karen Mitchell of the just published and much acclaimed The Model Bakery Cookbook, will talk about the art of making pastry. The book will be available for purchase and signing.
