Seghesio Family Vineyards’ Zin & BBQ Festival

Family Vineyards invites guests to attend the 11th annual Zin & BBQ Festival, an
afternoon of Zinfandel tasting and gourmet eats, taking place Saturday, July 26. Located in the heart of Healdsburg, Seghesio
Family Vineyards provides a premier location for an afternoon of delicious BBQ,
good company, fun in the sun, and Zinfandel.
Taking place from 1 p.m. – 5
p.m., Seghesio’s “Battle of the BBQs,” will pit local culinary favorites Chef/Owner
Dino Bugica of Geyserville’s Diavola Pizzeria & Salumeria and Chef de Cuisine
Dustin Valette of Healdsburg’s Dry Creek Kitchen against Seghesio’s own Executive
Chef Peter Janiak in a BBQ-themed cook-off moderated by noted grilling expert Ray
Lampe, otherwise known as Dr. BBQ.
Each chef will be tasked with
creating their own rib dish and a second item to be paired with a Seghesio
Zinfandel – Home Ranch, Cortina or Old Vine.
The crowd will have the chance to nibble and nosh on these tasty
pairings and vote, along with a panel of judges including Dr. BBQ, Winemaker
Ted Seghesio and Seghesio’s Associate Winemaker Andy Robinson, to crown the winning
chef.

Live music by local band Zydeco
Magic will provide all day entertainment for guests. In addition, all attendees will be entered
into a raffle for prizes including tickets to special winery dinner events and
to next year’s Zin & BBQ Festival. Tickets
are $60 per person and are now available on Seghesio’s website.
