René Romero Schuler Debuts "Cameo" Exhibition at Chimney Rock Winery

Fine Artist René Romero Schuler will make her Napa Valley debut with the opening of her solo exhibition at Chimney Rock Winery, a Terlato Family Property in world-renowned Stags Leap District of Napa Valley. The exhibit is entitled “Cameo,” which is in reference to the abstract figures showcased in Romero Schuler’s oil paintings. Through rich layers, the expressionistic figures present themselves and expose the struggle and triumph of the human condition. Romero Schuler’s self-taught technique involves harnessing textural strata of paint, palette scratches and vibrant, jewel-like colors to stress the inherent tension between surface and depth while eliciting an emotional experience in the viewer.

The exhibit comes to Napa through A Partnership Between Artist and Artisan; a collaboration between Romero Schuler and Terlato Family Vineyards that includes limited hand-painted wine bottles.
