Speaker will be Alex Shantz of the Napa County Gang and Youth Violence Commission.
The presentation will explore the existence of youth violence in the community. Specifically, it will focus on forms of youth violence related to homophobia and bullying. It will also explore the intersections between between homophobia and other systems of oppression. This can be used as a starting point to discuss public policy reforms and programs in which address issues of homophobic bullying and youth violence in general.
After the presentation we will break into support groups.
