Paper-mache masks by artist Diego Marcial Rios featured in Nov Art in the Library

Diego Marcial Rios will be exhibiting his hand-crafted paper maché masks throughout November at the Napa County Library.  An artist’s reception will be held on Friday, November 8, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Napa Main Library, 580 Coombs Street in Napa. The reception includes refreshments and a presentation at 6:30 p.m. by the artist.


 


A skilled and versatile artist, Rios’ work has been widely exhibited throughout the United States and internationally. His work is included in a number of museum collections, including the Auchenbach Foundation at the Palace of the Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco.

The Art in the Library program is a juried competition with artists competing in various media.  Selected artists exhibit their work at the Library for one month.
