Painter Joe Jaqua featured in July Art in the Library

Joe Jaqua will display his oil paintings throughout July
at the Napa County Library.  An artist’s
reception will be held on Friday, July 11, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Napa
Main Library, 580 Coombs Street in Napa. The reception includes refreshments
and a presentation at 6:30 p.m. by the artist.

Jaqua has studied sculpture and
printmaking as well as painting.  Subjects have ranged from landscapes,
figurative pieces, and abstracts.  He
enjoys painting work from ideas inspired by the urban environment.  He works primarily in oils but has worked
with watercolor, graphic work, pastel and clay.
