Focus on Film: Waitress

In honor of the Great Library Bake-off and Thanksgiving, Focus on Film is showing movies about pastry chefs.  This week’s film is Waitress. Jenna (Keri Russell) is a waitress whose fabulous pies are about the only sweet ingredient in an otherwise dreary existence. That is, until an unwanted pregnancy breeds unexpected romance between Jenna and an attractive doctor (Nathan Fillion). Written and directed by Adrienne Shelly, who also co-stars in the movie. 2007; 104 minutes.
