Focus on Film is showing four football movies in January to get ready for the Super Bowl.  This week’s film is Any Given Sunday. This movie takes a look at the gritty world of professional football, capturing the trials and tribulations of the fictional Miami Sharks, a team beset by unnecessary roughness on and off the field. Oliver Stone directs a top-notch cast, including Al Pacino, Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz, and Dennis Quaid. 1999; 157 minutes.
