During November, BANK Café and Bar at The Westin Verasa Napa, invites the public to participate in a canned food drive titled “Banksgiving”. This month-long promotion is an effort to support Community Action Napa Valley Food Bank (CANV), a nonprofit organization that provides services and resources that encourage self-sufficiency to the most vulnerable members of the Napa community.
In the spirit of giving back this holiday season, Mechanics Bank will generously match $1 per donated can, with 100% of food and funds donated to CANV. Additionally, those who contribute canned food during Banksgiving will be eligible to receive a special discount as a thank you for their donation to either BANK Café and Bar or La Toque, The Westin Verasa’s Michelin-starred restaurant by Chef Ken Frank. For every can donated, donors will receive a certificate with a percentage off of their meal, up to 10%. Donors should check in with the host stand at BANK Café and Bar to drop off their cans and to receive their discount certificate. Limitations for discount certificates apply.
