Breakfast Baking Competition

The Great Library Bake-off!

Now’s your chance to create the best-tasting treat baked for breakfast. Whether or not you enter the contest, you’ll have a chance to taste all the goodies. See the Contest Rules for category descriptions and details, which are available at www. shpl.org or at the library’s front desk.

While votes are being counted, Barbara Passino, master pastry chef, co-owner of a local bed and breakfast, and author of Chocolate for Breakfast, will give some tips and tricks about baking for breakfast enjoyment. The book will also be for sale during the event.

This year all the Napa County libraries have been invited to join the fun. The St. Helena contest will be followed by bake-offs at NCL branches in November. The final bake-off will be hosted in St. Helena on January 16th. Stay tuned!
